James Darling HouseCirca 1869 Mr. Darling was the second settler in Stisted Township. He married Hannah Dixon and they raised 9 children together. Settlers met here for the first Stisted Township Council meeting in 1874 and continued to do so until they moved the public meetings to Ashworth Hall in 1879.
